About us


Perhaps it is nice to know who you will be dealing with when you book, so we would like to introduce ourselves to you.

We are Mandy and Taco and together with our dog Lemon we emigrated from The Netherlands to the Spanish Costa del Sol in 2022. In The Netherlands we have worked in the hospitality industry, retail and ICT and for our relaxation we celebrated an annual holiday in Andalusia. We felt so at home here that we decided to settle here permanently.

We like to make people feel comfortable. How nice is it if you can offer guests a wonderful and comfortable stay under the Spanish sun.

Dear guests, we would like to ask your attention to the following points.

1. Arrival and departure
On the day of arrival, the apartment can be occupied from 15:00.
Upon arrival at the address, Calle Centauro 13, Riviera del Sol, you will receive the key and other important information.
When arriving by car, enter the address Calle Centauro 21, Riviera del Sol, Mijas, into the navigation. Here is the gate that gives access to the car park.
If you arrive later than the agreed time, no problem, just call +34 627 399 521 or +34 627 613 653.
On the day of departure, the latest check-out time is 12:00. In case of early departure or late arrival, no refund can be made.
The receipt and return of the keys is agreed between the tenant and the landlord. The loss of a key set will be accompanied by an expense allowance of € 50.00.
On departure, the dishwasher and garbage can must be empty, as well as the refrigerator. Please remove the used bed linen from the beds and put it in the laundry basket.

2. Accessibility
The apartment is located in a gated urbanization. A maximum of 1 car may be parked in the closed parking lot. Do not park on the road
 as this causes disruption in emergency situations.
Caravans, campers, trucks, containers, boats, trailers, agricultural vehicles and the like are not allowed on the site. Any additional cars must be parked elsewhere in the streets outside the urbanization. Make sure all access ports are closed completely after use.
There are no extra facilities for babies and small children (for example a high chair).
There is no elevator in the complex. The apartment can only be reached by stairs and is therefore not accessible for people with reduced mobility.

3. Recreation
The apartment is for recreational use only. You may not use the apartment other than for which it is intended, i.e. not intended for celebrating parties etc., in the broadest sense of the word.
Hanging garlands by means of adhesive tape, tape, double-sided adhesive tape, nails, thumbtacks, etc. and the use of confetti/crepe paper, etc. is not permitted.
Please do not open rooms that are locked with a key, the stored objects in this room are for private use.
Wireless internet is available in the house, the use of the internet during the rental period is entirely the responsibility of the tenant. All internet traffic is registered on our IP address, illegal downloading is prohibited.
Grease residues are never poured into the sink or pouring basins.

4. Habitation
Use and occupancy by a maximum of 4 people.
The tenant whose name is on the confirmation is the main tenant and therefore also liable for his or her co-tenants. The rental agreement is personal and it is not permitted to (sub)let or use our home(s) in whole or in part to others. If someone other than the main tenant, but someone from the travel group, collects the key, we would like to hear this in advance.
The owners are authorized to terminate any stay if the tenant(s) is clearly intolerant or does not comply with the rules of life and good neighborliness, without refund of the rent paid.

5. Eco friendly
Think about the environment during your holiday. Although electricity, water and the use of the AC are included in the rent, we ask our guests to handle this in a responsible manner.
Remember that when you leave the apartment, in the meantime or on departure, that you always close your windows and doors carefully and that the AC at a lower temperature
set or spacing.

6. Furniture
Indoor furniture must also remain inside the house, please leave chairs etc. inside.
It is not allowed to take bed linen and other bedding outside.
The landlord appreciates it when the awnings are retracted in case of strong wind and rain.

7. Visit
Visits are allowed but may not stay overnight. Visitor's cars must be parked outside the urbanization.
It is not allowed to use commercial services of third parties in the apartment without written permission from the landlord.
The owner can enter his property at any time for inspection to do the interior installations, air conditioning, etc. and this without the consent of the tenant. The owner is obliged to respect the privacy of the tenants.

8. Smoking
It is forbidden to smoke in the apartment. Smoking is only allowed on the terrace.

9. Pets
The apartment is pet-free. Pets are therefore not allowed in the apartment.

10. Music
It's great to listen to music, but think about your neighbours. After 22:00, you can enjoy the peace. Outdoor music, loud behavior or other disturbances will not be tolerated.

11. Waste
Containers for waste and empty bottles are located outside the urbanization. Walk out the gate and follow the road down. After about 50 meters the containers are on the right side of the street.
You can also store the cardboard with these containers.

12. Damage/breakage
An accident is in a small corner. If there was any damage or breakage during your stay, please be so kind and report it to us.

13. Fire safety and emergency procedures
The household fire regulations, the position of the emergency exits and fire extinguishers are first checked before the house is put into use.
In the apartment there is a printout of the floor plan on which the emergency lighting, fire detection, fire extinguishers and emergency exits are listed.
The stairs, corridors and doors must be kept clear in order to allow a quick and easy evacuation of the building. to make. Interior doors leading to an emergency exit may not be closed or blocked.
There is a first aid kit in the home.
Own electrical appliances must be technically sound and may not overload the electrical installation.
In the There is no fixed telephone line in the apartment. It is therefore recommended to have a mobile with you. A list of necessary and useful numbers are provided with the house rules.
Keeping fireworks in the residence and igniting fireworks around the apartment is strictly prohibited.
Barbecuing or deep-frying is not allowed in the apartment or on the terrace. Open fire is also not allowed.
Lighting candles in the house is not allowed, only those that the landlord provides with holders are allowed.

14. Liability
The landlord is not liable for damage and/or injury caused as a result of staying in the apartment or by using the facilities available on the urbanization.
The landlord cannot be held liable. accepting noise nuisance, nuisance, etc. experienced during the stay in and around the apartment caused by third parties in the broadest sense of the word. The landlord can also not be held liable if facilities break down and/or become out of use during your stay. are of facilities and/or amenities. However, it will of course do its utmost to have repairs, repair or replacement carried out as soon as possible and provide a solution that you are also satisfied with. Do not lose sight of children and do not leave them alone in the swimming pool.
If the house rules are not observed, the landlord reserves the right to take appropriate measures and to settle any resulting costs in whole or in part through the deposit issued.

15. Complaints or suggestions
Despite our care, it is possible that you have a complaint or suggestion. Please notify us in time so that we can maintain and/or improve our service and quality and can do something about it immediately and during your stay.
Complaints that are only reported upon departure can no longer be processed .
As a tenant, you are liable for damage caused during your stay and are obliged to report this immediately, including damage caused by fellow guests, etc. Damage/breakage, etc., which are already present or visible upon arrival, must be reported immediately upon arrival. to become. We can no longer trace/attribute damage/breakage etc. afterwards and will be borne by the current tenant.

16. Reservation
If the above rules are not complied with, we reserve the right to take appropriate measures.
If our property is lost or alienated, we will report this to the police.
Any disputes arising from its existence, interpretation or implementation, which cannot be settled amicably, will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of the district of Mijas, being the location of the apartment.
